What is a Care Navigator?

A Care Navigator is your dedicated Upwards contact to help you in your childcare search. Your Care Navigator is available to help answer any questions and support you as little or as much as you'd like. 


When you start looking for care through Upwards, your Care Navigator will reach out to confirm your search criteria. From there, they will do the initial research to find providers that fit your criteria, taking your budget and availability into consideration. Your Care Navigator will share some initial search results for you to review, and you can decide if you'd like to schedule a call or tour to see if this is a good fit for your family. And don't worry, your Care Navigator will send additional providers so we find the right fit.


Your Care Navigator is available to assist you with finding providers, scheduling tours, and enrolling in care. They can also help with urgent or last-minute changes to your care plans!


How do I connect with my Care Navigator?

Option 1: Submit a Care Request

We recommend creating a care request as your first step! Go to the home page and scroll through the "My Benefits" Section. This will allow you to create a care request that best fits your schedule, budget, and preferred care type.

Option 2: Text your Care Navigator

Select "Inbox" at the bottom of your screen. You can select the conversation with your Care Navigator to text them directly!

Option 3: Email or call Upwards Customer Support

Option 4: Give Feedback

Need to share feedback with the Upwards Team? You can do it easily from the Upwards App. Select "Menu" and "Give Feedback".

Select the drop-down menu and choose the appropriate category, such as payment and billing issues, scheduling and availability, quality of care, technical issues, and many more. Feel free to add any other relevant details. Our Upwards Support Team will review your request within an hour.
