How do I enroll or disenroll?

Modified on Wed, 8 Jul at 8:20 AM

You enroll through the Upwards app: open your saved program and tap Enroll, and an Upwards Care Navigator manages the paperwork with your daycare. To disenroll, open the conversation with your provider in your Inbox and select Unenroll under Program Details; most programs require two weeks' to one month's notice.

How do I enroll my child?

Enrolling your child in a daycare program can be an exciting and sometimes overwhelming process. It's crucial to find a daycare that meets your family's needs and provides a safe, nurturing environment for your child to learn and grow. At Upwards, we understand this importance and have simplified the process for families to enroll their kids in a program they love.

Together with the daycare center, we manage enrollment and billing procedures so that providers can concentrate on caring for your children. After your tour, you can request enrollment, and our dedicated Upwards Care Navigators will help you through each step of the process.

  1. Go to the homepage and select My saved programs in the Upwards app. Tap See All and select the daycare you want to enroll in.

What is the disenrollment policy?

We understand that circumstances can change, and families may need to disenroll their child from a daycare program. Here's what you need to know about the disenrollment process at Upwards:

  • Families are usually required to give a 2-week to 1-month notice if they plan to withdraw their child from daycare. This advance notice allows the daycare provider to make necessary arrangements for a smooth transition. If you don't provide this notice, you may be responsible for paying two weeks to one month of tuition in place of the notice.
  • Each daycare program may have its own policy regarding disenrollment. We encourage you to check with your current daycare provider to understand their policy and any disenrollment requirements.
